Guys, I don’t want to confess this… but it’s literally been almost 8 months since I last blogged. Since I work from home I feel like prioritizing is a daily struggle — However, I’m sure this is true for working mama’s as well!
Do I try to keep up with the housework?? (Although, I feel like I just maintain a healthy level of chaos over here: not completely clean but not a complete disaster either.) Or do I make sure that I’m on top of social media posts and blogging while still keeping up with the daily emailing clients back and forth, setting up consultations/sessions and let’s not forget the actual sessions themselves, ordering product, and delivering it to my clients.
Never mind the constant pressure (it feels) from social media to maintain absolute perfection. Perfect photos, perfect Instagram feed/ Facebook feed. Post what will interest people to gain interaction so the people who like your page will have the opportunity to actually see your photos you post. But don’t post on 2 pm on a Wednesday because according to Facebook that isn’t an ideal time to get interaction. (<—- no idea if that time actually isn’t ideal. I refuse to do the research or obsess about posting times… with three kids, ain’t nobody got time for that.) Don’t post too much personal content to your social media accounts… but post some that your potential clients get to know you a bit more and see you rather than just your brand.
I feel like most days I have been spinning in circles between keeping my younger two entertained while I try to finally sit down and edit that last session. But, oh crap! It’s 3pm and I still haven’t figured out what’s for dinner…
