Magic Hour Photographer {Central Pa}

I am thrilled to announce that I have been accepted as a Magic Hour Photographer.  This foundation provides photo sessions to families that have a family member dealing with cancer absolutely free of charge.

Many of you know I lost my niece, Hannah, to a brain tumor in 2013 when she was just 13 months old.  I’m so thankful that I was able to photograph her for her first birthday prior to my brother and family leaving for Kenya as medical missionaries.  Some of my favorite photos of her were from that session.

What an incredible honor to be accepted into this foundation and be able to bless other families who are going through a very difficult time.

These sessions are 100% free and families who have a session by a Magic Hour Photographer will receive the digital images along with professionally printed 5×7’s in a timeless custom box.

Black Sneak Peek {Lewistown, Pa} Maternity Photographer

It all started with the blizzard…

I had a crazy idea that it would be fun to do some outdoor maternity photos.  I ran a model call and this soon to be mama (again) said she would be more than willing to brave the cold and snow in a maternity gown… she didn’t expect for me to ask her to go barefoot at the end.  But she totally did it and ROCKED it!  I absolutely love when my client’s go along with my crazy ideas.  (AND she drove over an hour to the session!  Can you say really amazing!?)

King Sneak Peek {Lewistown, Pa} Maternity Photographer

I am so bad about blog posting!  While I was cleaning up my mess of a desk today because I thought I lost a check I hadn’t deposited I remembered it has been months since I blogged.  Side note: My desk is now super clean and I DID already deposit that check… I really need an accountant and an assistant. 😂

Have I ever mentioned how organized and a little OCD I was before kids.  Not only have they stolen my brain cells but my energy to be organized….

Anyway… here is the first session up to be blogged!  I went to school with Melanie and we reconnected after I moved back from Arkansas a few years back.  Her daughter and my daughter, Genesis, are about the same age so we’ve been having play dates the last couple of years.

During one of our girls’ play dates, I brought her down to my studio and we had a little fun.  (My mom was generous enough to stop by and hang out with the kids… so I guess it was kind of a mommy play date. 😂)
